Pediatric Urgent Care CME amazing!

I just finished the Pediatric Urgent Care CME and it was fantastic! The content was so relevant and well-presented. I learned so much that I can apply directly to my practice. I'm definitely coming back for more courses. I'll be telling all my colleagues about this place!

Advanced Urgent Care course experience

I signed up for the Advanced Urgent Care Course. The enrollment process online was smooth, really easy to navigate the website. I got an email confirmation right away with access instructions for the materials. The course content itself was thorough, good quality videos and clear explanations. I had a question about one of the case studies, sent an email to support, and they got back to me within a few hours which was great. The platform was a bit slow to load some of the larger modules, but nothing major. Overall, a solid educational experience that delivered on its promise.

Consistent X-ray training

This is my third time using Master Clinicians, I've done their X-ray Interpretation Training before and came back for this update. Their courses are always reliable. The material is consistently high quality, and I never have issues accessing the content or claiming my CME credits. It's why I keep returning. They make it simple to stay current.

Good Splinting and Casting workshop

Just took their Splinting and Casting Course last month. It was pretty good. The instructor knew their stuff, and the hands-on part was really helpful, felt like I actually got to practice. Didn't have any trouble signing up or getting my certificate after. The location was a bit of a drive for me, but that's on me for signing up for an in-person. No complaints with the course itself, would do another one.

hey, was looking at the advanced urgent care course. i'm a PA student, do they do any student discounts for that?

J James Doyle 1 month ago
Yeah, I got a student discount on a different course last year. You just have to ask or look for a code, they def have them.

They usually do! Check their site or sometimes partner organizations have unique codes. It's usually a pretty sweet deal too, like 10-25% off.

Thinking about getting the splinting and casting course. Are their workshops actually hands-on or is it mostly watching demos?

T Tara M. 4 weeks ago
Oh, the workshops are super hands-on. I did the suturing one and it was all practice, practice, practice. Definitely not just watching.

Can confirm, they really get you doing stuff. It's not just theory, you'll be getting your hands dirty with the techniques.

Thinking about the wound care management course but also saw one on Hippo Education. Any thoughts on how Master Clinicians compares to Hippo?

D Derek Okafor 1 month ago
Master Clinicians is usually more focused and practical for specific procedures, I feel. Hippo is great but sometimes broader.

I've used both. Master Clinicians often feels a bit more hands-on and clinical procedures-oriented compared to Hippo, which sometimes leans more into general medical knowledge.

how long do you get access to the online stuff after you buy it? is it like, for a month, or forever?

G Greg Doyle 1 month ago
I think it's usually a year? At least that's what it was for the EKG course I took.

From my experience, most of their online courses give you access for a full year. Plenty of time to get through it.

If I buy a live workshop and then something comes up, can I get my money back?

A Andre Carter 1 month ago
I think they have a refund policy for workshops, but there might be a deadline. Best to check their site.

They do, I know someone who had to cancel a few weeks out and got a refund. I don't think it's full refund if it's super last minute though.

Are these courses legit for PAs to claim CME credits? Want to make sure it counts for my certification.

N Nina Nguyen 2 months ago
Yup, totally legit for PAs and NPs. I've used their credits for years without any issues.

They're accredited, so you're good. Just follow their instructions on how to claim them after you finish the course.
